Welcome to Whittington Heath
Visitors are warmly welcomed to Whittington Heath Golf Club at selected times throughout the year.
Set on the edge of Lichfield, the course offers a fine test of heathland golf, combining firm, fast-running turf, mature trees, natural heather and a layout that rewards thoughtful play.
Whether you are visiting for the first time or returning to enjoy one of Staffordshire’s great golfing places, we ask all guests to familiarise themselves with the information below before arriving at the Club.
Green Fees 2026
Visitor green fee bookings are available by prior arrangement, with discounted rates available later in the day. Corporate bookings and visiting parties of more than 12 people should refer to the Club’s Groups and Societies information.

Booking Information
Visitor tee times are available through the Club’s online booking facility. All bookings are subject to availability and the Club’s visitor booking terms and conditions.
For corporate bookings or visiting groups of more than 12 players, please use the Groups and Societies information so the Club can help shape the day properly.
Buggy Hire
Buggies are available for hire by prior arrangement and subject to availability.

Dress Code
Members and visitors are asked to observe the Club’s dress standards and to show due respect to the course, clubhouse and fellow golfers.
On the Course
- Normal smart golf attire is expected.
- Men’s shirts must be tucked inside the waistband.
- If shorts are worn, they must be tailored.
In the Clubhouse
- The standard is smart casual.
- Shirts may be worn untucked in the clubhouse.
- Golf shoes are permitted in the Spike Bar only.
Course Etiquette
To ensure every golfer enjoys their day at Whittington Heath, all players are asked to follow traditional golfing etiquette and help care for the course.
Pace of Play
Please keep up with the group in front. If you fall behind, make every effort to close the gap.
Playing Through
If a faster group is behind and there is space ahead, please allow them to play through.
Course Care
Please repair pitch marks properly and replace or repair divots on fairways and tees.
Bunkers
Please rake bunkers after use and leave them as you would wish to find them.
Please note that dogs are not permitted anywhere on the Club’s property.
